About us

My name is Yekaterina Mishenina, and I come from a Ukrainian household where cooking and baking are cherished as a form of art—an experience that brings people together and fills our home with joy. My mother has always had a gift for creating incredible desserts, especially cakes, and her passion inspired my own love for baking sweet treats.

While I enjoy making full-sized cakes, I found they’re not always the best fit for party settings. That’s when I had a thought: why not create smaller versions of the cakes everyone adores? That way, each guest gets their own perfectly portioned bite, and no one is left out. Mini cakes became my canvas—each one a delightful little piece of edible art.

Crafting these treats is more than baking; it’s an experience. I love figuring out how to divide batters evenly between containers and exploring different ways to decorate—whether uniquely or with a cohesive theme. My little one often joins me, tugging a chair up to the counter and helping in the sweet ways she can. Even our cat likes to hover nearby, hoping for a taste of whipped cream.

Together, we create these mini desserts as a family, and it’s in those moments that I truly feel the artistry of baking. I still enjoy making traditional-sized cakes and pastries, always learning and growing as a baker. There’s always something new to discover—and that journey is just as sweet as the desserts themselves.
